\textit{A. M. Samojlenko} and \textit{N. A. Perestyuk} [Differ. Uravn. 14, 1034-1045 (1978; Zbl 0394.34033)] considered the problem of finding periodic solutions of a weakly nonlinear system with an impulse interaction of the form \[ (1)\quad dx/dt=A(t)x+\epsilon f(t,x),\quad (2)\quad \Delta x|_{t_ i(x,\epsilon)}=B_ ix+\epsilon I_ i(x). \] Moreover, it was assumed, in particular, that the matrix A(t) is constant: A(t)\(\equiv A\) (in accord with Floquet theory, this restriction is not essential); the matrices A and \(B_ i\) for any \(i\in {\mathbb{Z}}\) satisfy the commutation relation \(AB_ i=B_ iA\) [also an unimportant restriction, directed at the simplification of the form of the Green function of system (1), (2)]; the functions \(t_ i(x,\epsilon)\) satisfy a Lipschitz condition in x with small Lipschitz constants \({\mathcal N}_ i(\epsilon)\), \(\lim_{\epsilon \to 0} {\mathcal N}_ i(\epsilon)=0\). In a number of cases, the boundedness of the partial derivative with respect to x, \(\| \partial t_ i(x,\epsilon)/\partial x\| \leq {\mathcal N}_ i(\epsilon),\) was required. This last condition is quite burdensome, and also superfluous. In this article, necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence in the system (1), (2) of small values of \(\epsilon\) of a conditionally stable (consequently, unique) periodic solution in a small neighborhood of zero, and conditions are also given that an arbitrary integral curve of system (1), (2) encounters one of the hypersurfaces of the ``jumps'' \(\Gamma_ i(\epsilon)=\{(t,x)| t=t_ i(x,\epsilon)\}\) not more than once.
