Addendum: On the Kuznetsov-Bruggeman formula for a Hilbert modular surface having one cusp (Q752745)

There is a gap in the proof of Lemma 4.26 in the above-mentioned article [ibid. 203, 59-104 (1990; Zbl 0701.11020)]. The proof implicitly assumed that there are no exceptional eigenvalues of \(SL_ 2({\mathcal O}_ K)\setminus H^ 2\). The exceptional eigenvalues for \(SL_ 2({\mathcal O}_ K)\setminus H^ 2\), if any, create additional terms. The correct result is given.
