The present paper is a generalization of an earlier note of the author [cf. Northeast. Math. J. 1, 90-100 (1985; Zbl 0596.20031)]. He establishes the existence of the limit of an inverse system of affine group schemes and proves some properties about its structure and about its representations and cohomologies. He reobtains some known concepts and results as a special case of his main results.
