\textit{Norman Levine} [Am. Math. Mon. 70, 36-41 (1963; Zbl 0113.163)] defined a subset A of a topological space X to be semi-open provided that there is an open set U such that \(U\subseteq A\subseteq \bar U\). \textit{I. Reilly} and \textit{S. N. Young} considered the notion of quasi semi- component corresponding to Levine's notion of semi-open sets [Math. Chronicle 3, 115-118 (1974; Zbl 0311.54038)]. The present paper continues the study of quasi semi-components in bitopological spaces and establishes among other results that in a bitopological space every quasi semi-component is the union of the semi-components of its points. The definition of semi-open set given in the paper has been misprinted.
