Dimension of locally trivial fiber bundle spaces (Q756189)

All spaces under discussion are assumed to be Tikhonov. \textit{B. A. Pasynkov} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 26, 654-658 (1982); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 267, No.3, 548-552 (1982; Zbl 0561.54028)] has shown that if X is countably compact and if Y is first countable, then \(\dim (X\times Y)\leq \dim (X)+\dim (Y)\). The author shows that for locally trivial fiber bundles, an analogous statement under the assumption of the continuum hypothesis does not hold.
