The author considers the problem that a test particle moves in the Gödel universe with an initial velocity from the origin toward a fixed target on the \(x^ 1\)-axis in the comoving coordinate system. The particle will not reach the distant target, instead, it deviates and spirals outward. The author shows that a charged particle reaches a fixed target on the \(x^ 2\)-axis if some external constant magnetic force balances the rotational effect of the Gödel universe. The magnetic field is not cosmological, namely, not a part of the universe content. It depends only on the constant angular speed of the whole universe and not on the coordinate system. In other words, it is global over some region that contains the particle motions, the author claims.
