Complete systems of functions for the exterior Dirichlet and Neumann problems in the bending of Mindlin-type plates (Q757146)

Although existence and uniqueness theorems of the Mindlin-type refined plate bending theory has been proved by the author earlier [A mathematical analysis of bending of plates with transverse shear deformation (1990; Zbl 0692.73058)], still in the case of numerical solution of external boundary value problems complications arise because of the growth of the solution at infinity. It is shown, that a complete set in the space of the solution can be established, which enables the use of the numerical approximation method. The completeness of the presented sets is proved for the both title problems.
