The maximal abelian subalgebras (MASA's) of the Lie algebras \({\mathfrak o}(n,{\mathbb{C}})\) are constructed and classified as pairs \(\{\) M,K\(\}\), where M is a MASA of \({\mathfrak o}(n,{\mathbb{C}})\) and \(K=K^ T\) is a complex regular matrix which gives the metric. Equivalence of pairs \(\{\) M,K\(\}\), \(\{M',K'\}\) means \(G\cdot M\cdot G^{-1}=M'\) and \(G\cdot K\cdot G^ T=K'\) for some \(G\in Gl(n,{\mathbb{C}})\). The problem is reduced to the construction of maximal nilpotent subalgebras, for lower dimensional cases (\({\mathfrak o}(n,{\mathbb{C}})\) with \(n\leq 7)\) all classes are listed.
