The following result is proved: For every \(n\in {\mathbb{N}}\) and for every \(x>0\) we have \[ I_{n-1}(x)I_{n+1}(x)>\frac{n+1}{n+2}(I_ n(x))^ 2, \] where \(I_ n(x)=e^ x-\sum^{n}_{i=0}\frac{x^ i}{i!}\). The value \((n+1)/(n+2)\) cannot be replaced by a greater number.
