It is known that the solution set of \(x'(t)\in f(t,x)\) coincides with the set of solutions of \(x'(t)\in \hat f(t,x)\), where \(\hat f\) denotes the upper semicontinuous, compact convex regularization of f. For \(F(t,x)=G(t,x)\setminus \cup^{\infty}_{k=1}R_ k(t,x)\), where G is lower semicontinuous with closed values, the graph of each multifunction \(R_ k\) is closed and \(R_ k(t,x)\) is nowhere dense in G(t,x), for each t, x, it is obtained the existence of a directionally continuous selection f(t,x)\(\in F(t,x)\). This result applies to the problem \(x'\in ext F(x)\cap int G(x)\), the right hand side being the intersection of the extreme points of two continuous multifunctions with compact convex values. Existence of periodic solutions is also studied.
