Let M be a complex manifold of dimension n, p an integer, \(1\leq p\leq n\), and \(\Omega\) a smooth real (i.e. \(\Omega ={\bar \Omega})\) (p,p)-form on M. \(\Omega\) is a transverse (p,p)-form on M if \(\Omega |_ N\) is a volume form on a p-dimensional complex submanifold N of M. A complex manifold M is called p-Kähler if it admits a closed transverse (p,p)- form. The main purpose of this paper is to study compact p-Kähler manifolds. More precisely, the authors find the statements for a compact holomorphically parallelizable manifold which are equivalent to the condition of p-Kählerianity. They give several examples to emphasize the structure and the behaviour of this kind of non-Kähler manifolds.
