Anisotropic function spaces. I: Hardy's inequality, decompositions (Q760876)

The paper deals with anisotropic Besov spaces \(B_ p^{\bar s}\) and anisotropic Sobolev spaces \(W_ p^{\bar s}\) in the plane and in the unit circle, \(\bar s=(s_ 1,s_ 2)\), \(1<p<\infty\). We prove an anisotropic Hardy inequality which, in turn, is the basis for decomposition theorems for the spaces under consideration.
