The hemitropic medium is considered within the framework of the micropolar theory of elasticity. Separated vector equations for displacements u and rotations \(\phi\) are introduced within thermoelastostatics and elastodynamics. The application of the obtained equations to the fixed problem of a hemitropic halfspace is discussed.
