In this paper, nonlinear bending for orthotropic rectangular thin plates under various supports is studied. The uniformly valid asymptotic solutions of the displacement and stress function are derived by the perturbation offered by \textit{F. Jiang}, Sci. Rep. Nat. Fudan Univ. 2(1978), 29-37 (1978) and Chin. Ann. Math. 1, 387-397 (1980; Zbl 0477.35010).
