This article is about bifurcation diagrams of \(C^{\infty}\) (or \(C^{\omega})\) functions with critical points of finite multiplicity. For such a function there is in the space of \(C^{\infty}\) (or \(C^{\omega})\) functions a finite dimensional transverse to the orbit of this function under the action of the group of \(C^{\infty}\) (respectively \(C^{\omega})\) diffeomorphisms (under the coordinate changes). Decomposition of the space of functions into orbits induces decomposition of the transverse manifold into submanifolds (with singularities). The bifurcation diagram is the union of submanifolds whose dimension is smaller than the dimension of the transverse manifold. The author extends a result of \textit{E. Looijenga} [Invent. Math. 23, 105- 116 (1974; Zbl 0278.32008)] and of \textit{O. V. Lyashko} [Usp. Mat. Nauk 34, No.3 (207), 205-206 (1979; Zbl 0434.32020)] about triviality of all homotopy groups (except the fundamental group) of the complement to the bifurcation diagram from the case of simple singularities to the cases of simple linear singularities and to the case of simple projections of hypersurfaces with boundary to a line. The author also shows that for bifurcation diagrams of zeros of quasihomogeneous projections of complete intersections to a line an analog of theorem of Zakalukin about stability of the vector fields transversal to the bifurcation diagram of zeros of quasihomogeneous function (with respect to the action of the group of diffeomorphisms preserving the diagram) is valid.
