Summary: We are interested in the existence of solutions for the Dirichlet problem associated to the degenerate quasilinear elliptic equations \[ -\sum^n_{j=1} D_j[\omega_2(x) \mathcal A_j (x, u, \nabla u)] + \omega_1(x) g(x, u(x)) + H(x, u, \nabla u) \omega_2(x) = f(x), \;\;\text{on } \Omega \] in the setting of the weighted Sobolev spaces \(W_0^{1,p}(\Omega, \omega_1, \omega_2)\).
