The fixed-point index of nonlinear operators in Menger PN-spaces (Q764017)

Following the work of \textit{S.-S. Zhang} and \textit{Y.-Q. Chen} [Appl. Math. Mech., Engl. Ed. 10, No. 6, 495--505 (1989; Zbl 0751.47040)] on topological degree theory in probabilistic metric spaces, the authors present a topological degree theory for compact continuous operators defined on an open subset of a Menger probabilistic normed (Menger PN-) space and discuss the notion of fixed point index in a Menger PN-space.
