Locally analytic functions in a local field of positive characteristic (Q765148)

A new characterization of locally analytic functions on \(\mathbb{Z}_{p}\) by a restricted power series over \(\mathbb{Z}_{p}\) involving finitely many Fermat quotient operators was recently developed by \textit{A. Buium, C. Ralph} and \textit{S. Simanca} [J. Number Theory 131, No. 1, 96--105 (2011; Zbl 1209.30022)]. The author establishes function field analogues of Buium et al.'s results.
