      The author considers the so-called reversible Selkov equations. This is a reaction-diffusion system for \((u,v)\) in a bounded regular 3-domain. The diffusion is driven by the Dirichlet Laplacian, while the reaction process is described by cubic nonlinearities that differ by sign in the equations for \(u\) and \(v\). The two main theorems of the paper assert the existence of a finite-dimensional global attractor and the upper-semicontinuity of this attractor for \(G\to0+\), i.e. taking the limit to the non-reversible reaction. These theorems are based on a number of regularity estimates, uniform with respect to \(G\), which are derived by standard techniques after a suitable cancellation of the nonlinearities.
