Suppose that \(\mathcal{G}\) is a finite dimensional simple Lie algebra of type \(A, D\) or \(E\) with Weyl group \(W.\) Fix a Cartan subalgebra \(\mathcal{H}\) of \(\mathcal{G}\) and suppose \(R\) is the corresponding root system. Associated to the Dynkin diagram \(\Gamma\) of \(\mathcal{G},\) there is a certain quiver \(\widehat \Gamma\subseteq\Gamma\times \mathbb{Z}_{2h},\) where \(h\) is the Coxeter number. It has been proved by the authors [J. Algebra 323, No. 5, 1241--1265 (2010; Zbl 1231.20035)] that there is a bijection from the root system \(R\) to the quiver \(\widehat \Gamma\) satisfying specific properties. Using this bijection, the authors of the paper under review correspond to each Coxeter element \(C\in W,\) a basis for \(\mathcal{G}\) consisting of the root vectors and show that the corresponding structure constants are given by paths in \(\widehat \Gamma\).
