The present paper is an extension of the author's earlier work [Avtom. Telemekh. 18, No. 2, 126--136 (1957; \url{mathnetru:at13105}); Automat. Remote Control 21 (1960), 911--919 (1961); translation from Avtom. Telemekh. 21, No. 9, 1293--1306 (1960; \url{mathnetru:at12630})] on two-channel systems. The systems are now considered under random disturbances. The analysis of these systems is made by using complex transfer functions which are a generalization of the real transfer functions in one dimension. The expressions obtained are completely analogous to the usual expressions for the one-channel case which can thus be obtained as a special case. For the case of linear stationary systems, the author has derived, among others, the expression for the mean-squared error, and for the relay system he has obtained the interesting result that, from the point of view of noise (Gaussian) suppression, the system should be self-oscillatory with the amplitude of the self-oscillation much larger than the mean-square noise amplitude.
