    The paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions for the following Schrödinger-Poisson system: \[ -\Delta u + V(x) u + \lambda \phi u = f(u) + h(x), \ \] \[ \Delta \phi = u^2, \ x\in \mathbb{R}^3, \ \lambda > 0, \] where \(f \in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R}^+), \ f(t) \equiv 0\) for \(t \leq 0\), \(\lim_{t\rightarrow 0} f(t)/t = 0\) and \(\lim_{|t|\rightarrow \infty} f(t)/t = +\infty\), \(h(x) = h(|x|) \in C(\mathbb{R}^3) \cap L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)\) is nonnegative with \(|\nabla h(x)| |x| \leq \zeta^2(x)\) for some \(\zeta \in L^2(\mathbb{R}^3) \cap W^{1,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3)\) and for all \(x \in \mathbb{R}^3\). Moreover, \(f(t) \leq a(1 + |t|^{p-1})\) for some \(a>0\), \(p \in (2, 6)\) and all \( t \in \mathbb{R}\). Under these conditions, the authors prove, by using Ekeland's variational principle and the mountain pass theorem, that the above Schrödinger-Poisson system has two positive solutions in \(H^1_r(\mathbb{R}^3)\) if \(\lambda>0\) and \(|h|_2\) are suitably small, which extends the results of [\textit{Y. Jiang} et al., Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 83, 50--57 (2013; Zbl 1288.35217)] with \(f(u)=|u|^{p-1}u\) to a more general type of \(f(u)\).
