The neutral differential equation \[ (a(t)([x(t) + p(t)[x(\sigma(t))]^\alpha]')^\gamma)' + q(t)[x(\sigma(t))]^\beta = 0, \quad t \ge t_0 \] is considered, where \(t_0 \ge 0\) is fixed, \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(\gamma\) are ratios of positive odd integers, \(0<\alpha<1\), \(\beta\ge\gamma\), the functions \(a\), \(p\), \(q\), \(\tau\), \(\sigma\) are nonnegative and smooth on \([t_0,\infty)\), \(\tau(t)<t\), \(\sigma(t)<t\), \(\tau\) is nondecreasing, \(\lim_{t\to\infty}\tau(t)=\infty\), \(\lim_{t\to\infty}\sigma(t)=\infty\), and \[ \int_{t_0}^\infty \frac{1}{[a(t)]^{1/\gamma}} dt < \infty. \] Sufficient conditions for every solution to be oscillatory are derived.
