In this paper the authors are concerned with some stabilizer-free weak Galerkin methods on polytopal meshes, for a class of second order elliptic (2D and 3D) boundary value problems of divergence form and with gradient nonlinearity in the principal coefficient. They assume certain continuity and monotonicity properties of the operator involved and use a nonlinear variant of Lax-Milgram lemma for monotone operators in order to show the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution. Then, they derive an optimal error estimates in the energy norm and carry out two numerical examples in order to verify their error estimates.
