On compressions and generalized spectra of operators over \(C^*\)-algebras (Q781691)

Semi-Fredholm and upper/lower semi-Fredholm operators on \(H_A=l^2(A)\) and several versions of spectra have been studied by \textit{S. Ivković} [Banach J. Math. Anal. 13, No. 4, 989--1016 (2019; Zbl 1440.47008)]. In this paper, the author takes advantage of some new classes of operators on \(H_A\) together with the generalized spectra in the center of the algebra \(Z(A)\) to obtain several results as a generalization of some results from classical spectral semi-Fredholm theory given in an unpublished manuscript of \textit{S. Živković-Zlatanović} et al. [Fredholm theory. Niš: University of Niš, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics (2019)]. The aim of this paper is to make first steps into a new, spectral semi-Fredholm theory on Hilbert \(C^*\)-modules in the setting of generalized spectra in the center of a \(C^*\)-algebra.
