The authors consider systems of \(N\) bosons in a 3D box of volume 1 which interact through a repulsive two-body potential. The Hamiltonian is given by \[H_N^{\beta} = \sum_{j=1}^N -\Delta_{x_j} + \dfrac{\kappa}{N} \sum_{i< j}^N N^{3\beta} V(N^{\beta}(x_i-x_j))\] for some \(0\leq b \leq 1\). The case \(\beta = 0\) corresponds to the mean-field limit of a Bose gas, and \(\beta = 1\) corresponds to the Gross-Pitaevskii regime. Periodic boundary conditions are imposed. The potential \(V\) is assumed to be non-negative, compactly supported, and spherically symmetric. For all \(0<\beta<1\) and small enough \(\kappa>0\), the authors show the validity of Bogolyubov theory to identify the ground state energy and excitation spectrum for the above Hamiltonian. This is established up to errors which vanish in the large \(N\) limit.
