Extreme Khovanov spectra (Q783774)

\textit{R. Lipshitz} and \textit{S. Sarkar} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 27, No. 4, 983--1042 (2014; Zbl 1345.57014)] constructed a refinement of Khovanov homology valued in the stable homotopy category. \textit{J. González-Meneses} et al. [Proc. R. Soc. Edinb., Sect. A, Math. 148, No. 3, 541--557 (2018; Zbl 1428.57006)] constructed a simplicial complex refining Khovanov homology in the extreme quantum grading, i.e., the minimal possible quantum grading where Khovanov homology is nontrivial. The main goal of the paper under review is to prove that the construction of González-Meneses, Manchón, and Silvero agrees, up to stable homotopy type, in the extreme quantum grading with that of Lipshitz and Sarkar.
