In this paper the motion of a rigid body in a viscous incompressible fluid is considered where some Navier slip conditions are prescribed on the body's boundary. The complete system is assumed to occupy the full plane \(\mathbb{R}^{2}\). The energy is allowed to be infinity for lack of integrability at infinity, more precisely the solutions behave like \(x^{\perp}/2\pi |x|^{2}\). The main result of the article consists in the proof of existence of global-in-time weak solutions with constant non-zero circulation at infinity. Furthermore, main contributions are the extension of the definition of weak solutions and the density argument. The bibliography contains 20 items.
