Categorical Bernstein operators and the Boson-Fermion correspondence (Q785618)

This paper gives a categorification of the Boson-Fermion correspondence by constructing analogue of Bernstein operators and Kac-Frenkel fermionic vertex operators in Khovanov's Heisenberg category \(\mathcal{H}\). It also shows that the categorical Fock space representation of \(\mathcal{H}\) is a direct summand of the regular representation using diagrammatic Young idempotents. Hence the paper proves the conjectures in [\textit{S. Cautis} and \textit{J. Sussan}, Commun. Math. Phys. 336, No. 2, 649--669 (2015; Zbl 1327.17009)].
