Let \(L=(2\pi)^{-1}\log((2\pi)^{-1}T)\) and let \(\alpha\) be a real number satisfying \(| \alpha | \leq frac{1}{2}L\). It is shown that \[ \sum_{0<\gamma \leq T}\zeta^{(\mu)}(\rho +i\alpha L^{-1})\quad \zeta^{(\nu)}(1-\rho -i\alpha L^{-1})\quad \sim \quad C(\mu,\nu,\alpha)\quad T\quad L^{\mu +\nu +2}, \] where \(\rho =\beta +i\gamma\) runs over zeros of \(\zeta\) (s). The constant \(C(\mu,\nu,\alpha)\) is given explicitly. As corollaries one finds, on the Riemann hypothesis, that \[ \sum_{0<\gamma \leq T}| \zeta^{(\mu)}(frac{1}{2}+i\gamma)|^ 2\quad \sim \quad(\mu /(\mu +1))^ 2\quad N(T)^{-1}\quad \int^{T}_{0}| \zeta^{(\mu)}(frac{1}{2}+it)|^ 2\quad dt, \] and that \[ \sum_{0<\gamma \leq T}| \zeta(frac{1}{2}+i(\alpha +\gamma))|^ 2 \sim 2\pi(1-(\sin \pi\alpha/\pi\alpha)^ 2)T L^ 2. \] This latter result has been applied by \textit{J. Mueller} [J. Number Theory 14, 327-331 (1982; Zbl 0483.10035)] to find large gaps between consecutive zeros of \(\zeta\) (s).
