    Defining a 0-distributive semilattice as a meet-semilattice S with 0 in which \(a\wedge x_ 1=...=a\wedge x_ n=0\) implies \(a\wedge(x_ 1\vee...\vee x_ n)=0\) whenever \(x_ 1\vee...\vee x_ n\) exists in S, the authors extend some of the results of \textit{T. P. Speed} [J. Aust. Math. Soc. 18, 54-72 (1974; Zbl 0294.06009)] and the reviewer [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 170, 57-70 (1972; Zbl 0277.06002); Acta Sci. Math. 36, 221-226 (1974; Zbl 0246.06003)] to 0-distributive semilattices. They also obtain some equivalent conditions for an annihilator ideal of a 0-distributive semilattice to be prime.
