\textit{A. Kumar} and \textit{D. P. Sahu} [Pac. J. Math. 97, 443-451 (1981; Zbl 0439.40007)] established inclusion theorems for absolute summability involving the product of the Cesaro matrix of order one with either a Nörlund or a weighted mean method. In this paper these results are extended by replacing the Cesaro matrix with either a Nörlund matrix or a weighted mean matrix
