This is the second part of a investigation of the validity of the principle of limiting absorption for a certain class of Schrödinger operators with slowly varying potentials. It contains the proof of the uniqueness of the limiting absorption solutions used to prove the main result of the first part [see the article reviewed above]. The proof is a generalization of arguments used by \textit{T. Kato} in his work in Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 12, 403-425 (1959; Zbl 0091.095). The uniqueness result is - technically speaking - based on a variant of the Sommerfeld radiation condition using a family of so-called approximate phase functions and a corresponding (a-priori) growth property.
