Packet-service queuing systems are considered in which customers arrive for service in a Poisson stream of a rate, customers' service times have a general distribution B(t), \(\beta_ 1=\int^{\infty}_{0}t dB(t)\). Packet formation is natural, i.e. the next packet is accumulated while the preceding packet is serviced. The demands are chosen for service at random inside of a packet. The purpose of the investigation is the determination of stationary characteristics of this system: a packet size, virtual waiting time till the next packet arrives for service, virtual engagement time of a customer in the system. The joint distribution of the combinations of these random variables is studied when \(t\to \infty.\) The characteristics of this system and of systems with direct and inverse orders of servicing inside of a packet are also calculated.
