Interpolation of \(2^ d\) Banach spaces and multiparametric approximation (Q791079)

Starting from the connection between the theory of abstract approximation and interpolation spaces, the author presents a series of results for Banach interpolation spaces of d parameters. Some approximation spaces are defined using inequalities of Jackson and Bernstein type. As applications, direct and inverse approximation theorems in function spaces with a dominant mixed derivative are given. So, one obtains some results of Nikol'skij as a consequence of the abstract approximation theory.
