Main result: Let \(\Gamma\) be a Hausdorff upper semicontinuous multifunction from a metric space X to the closed nonempty subsets of a normed linear space Y such that it maps isolated points of X to singletons and for each x in X, \(\Gamma\) (x) is a separable convex set. Then for every \(\epsilon>0\) there exists in a Baire class one function f:\(X\to Y\) whose limit set multifunction is u.s.c. and convex valued with \(\delta\) (graph f, graph \(\Gamma)\leq \epsilon\) (\(\delta\) denotes the Hausdorff distance). If the values of \(\Gamma\) are totally bounded then f can be chosen continuous. This result generalizes that of \textit{A. Cellina} [Atti Accad. Naz. Lincei, VIII. Ser., Rend., Cl. Sci. Fis. Mat. Nat. 48, 412-416 (1970; Zbl 0198.280)].
