In a regular reflection, there is a triple point on the reflected shock at which the curvature of the shock first begins. In a vibrationally relaxing gas the jumps in the gradients of flow variables are obtained across the slip stream at this point. The flow in a region between the slip stream and the boundary curve is shown to be irrotational and it is concluded that the stream lines become curved at the triple point. Finally the vorticity jump across the slip stream is discussed.
