Shock waves created by explosion are very important in the study of astrophysical models. The shocks so created, disturbe the model enormously and its power is highly effected by magnetic fields and losses of energy due to radiation. The present paper is an attempt to obtain the solution for a spherical shock wave in self gravitating systems. The magnetic field has been assumed to be an idealized field with lines of forces spread over a family of concentric spheres. The effect due to radiative loss of energy also has been taken into account but under very restricted condition. The technique used for the solution is based on the theory of similarity solutions. The result has been illustrated with the help of tables and graphs. The dependencies of radiative energy on magnetic field and total energy of the shock on the time have been calculated.
