In the domain \(\Pi =\{(t,R)\), \(0<t\leq T\), \(R=(x,y,z)\), \(y>0,- \infty<x<\infty,-\infty<z<\infty\}\) the following mixed problem is considered: \[ (1)\quad D_ tu(t,R)-D^ 2_{y^ 2}u(t,R)-yD_ xu(t,R)-xD_ zu(t,R)=f(t,R) \] \[ (2)\quad u(0,R)=u_ 0(R),\quad u(t,x,0,z)=\phi(t,R'),\quad R'=(x,z),\quad(3)\quad u_ 0(x,0,z)=\phi(0,R'). \] The following existence and uniqueness result is proved: Suppose that (1) f(t,R) is continuous and bounded and with respect to y it is uniformly Hölder continuous of order \(\alpha\), \(\alpha \in(0,1]\); with respect to x,z it has continuous, bounded derivatives up to the third order and \(\int_{{\mathbb{R}}^ 2}| D^ kf(t,R)| dR'\leq C, | k| \leq 3\). (2) \(v_ 0(R)\), \(\phi\) (t,R') are continuous and bounded and with respect to x,z have continuous bounded partial derivatives up to the fourth order and \[ \int_{{\mathbb{R}}^ 2}| D^ k\phi(t,R')| dR'\leq C,\quad \int_{{\mathbb{R}}^ 2}| D^ ku_ 0(R)| dR'\leq C,\quad | k| \leq 4. \] Then the mixed problem (1), (2), (3) has a unique classical solution.
