Self-adjoint infinite-dimensional elliptic differential operators with a singular potential (Q797126)

The paper is devoted to the problem of self-adjointness of the infinite- dimensional elliptic differential operators of the second order with singular potential; the operators operate in the space \(L_ 2(X,dg(x))\) of functions over the real separable Hilbert space X with the Gauss measure dg(x). Several tests for the self-adjointness of such operators are indicated, using the methods and results of the latest papers of the author and of \textit{V. Samojlenko} [cf., for example, Usp. Mat. Nauk 36, No.5(221), 3-56 (1981; Zbl 0485.47031)].
