Commutative Moufang loops are loops satisfying the identities \(xy\cdot zx=(x\cdot yz)x\) and \(xy=yx\). A 3-Abelian group satisfies \((xy)^ 3=x^ 3y^ 3\). The author investigates the relationship between these objects as well as groups and Moufang loops satisfying \(x^ 3=1\).
