Let \(Q_ t (t>0)\) be the group generated by two elements x and y with relations \(x^ t=y^ 2\) and \(xyx=y\). If \(t=2^{m-1} (m>1)\), it is the generalized quaternion group. \(Q_ t\) acts freely on the unit sphere \(S^{4n+3}\) in the quaternion \((n+1)\)-space \(H^{n+1}\) by the diagonal action. The purpose of this paper is to determine completely the additive structure of the reduced K-ring \(\tilde K(S^{4n+3}/Q_ t)\) of the quotient manifold \(S^{4n+3}/Q_ t\). First, the authors prove that for \(t=2^{m-1}\cdot q (m>0\) and \((q,2)=1),\) there is a ring isomorphism: \[ \tilde K(S^{4n+3}/Q_ t)\cong\tilde K(S^{4n+3}/Q_{2^{m- 1}})\oplus^{\sim}(L_ 0^{2n+1}(q)), \] where \(^{\sim}(L_ 0^{2n+1}(q))\) is the reduced KO-ring of the \((4n+2)\)-skeleton \(L_ 0^{2n+1}(q)\) of the mod q lens space \(S^{4n+3}/{\mathbb{Z}}_ q\). Second, they determine the additive structure of \(\tilde K(S^{4n+3}/Q_{2^{m-1}}),\) improving the results of the first author [Hiroshima Math. J. 3, 251-265 (1973; Zbl 0272.55025)] and of \textit{T. Mormann} [Topologie sphärischer Raumformen, Diss. (1978; Zbl 0416.57006)]. Third, they determine the additive structure of \(^{\sim}(L_ 0^{2n+1}(q))\), improving the results of \textit{T. Kawaguchi} and the second author [Hiroshima Math. J. 1, 273-286 (1971; Zbl 0261.55004)] [cf. the authors and the reviewer, Mem. Fac. Sci., Kochi Univ., Ser. A 3, 21-27 (1982; Zbl 0492.55010)]. The full statements of the main theorems are too long to be stated here.
