In the present paper, the method of averaging of the bulk equations for the interphase layer is used to obtain conservation equations for the mass and momentum and a heat flow equation for the true and excess quantities in the case when there exists a mass flux through the interface, as, for example, in the case of evaporation and condensation. The medium within the interphase layer is assumed to be strongly anisotropic. Assumptions are pointed out under which the equations for the true and excess quantities take a form analogous to the corresponding bulk equations.
