Let \(\zeta\) be a G-invariant irreducible character of the normal subgroup H of G, realizable over K, where (K,R,k) is a p-modular system. Let \(S=G/H\) and suppose that \(p|| H|\). The authors show the following: Theorem. There exists a G-invariant RH-lattice affording \(\zeta\) if one of the following holds. (i) K contains a primitive pth root of unity and a primitive 4th root of unity in case \(p=2\). (ii) The greatest common divisor of the degree of \(\zeta\) and the exponent of S/S' is relatively prime to p-1 for odd p and to \(p=2\) otherwise.
