In the present paper the author considers measure-preserving actions of a group G which can be written as a skew product of Z with some compact metrizable \(\bar G\). Here, an action of G is a collection of measure preserving transformations \(\{T_ g\}_{g\in G}\), of a nonatomic Lebesgue space (\(\Omega\),\({\mathcal F}_{\mu})\) where \(T_ g\circ T_{g'}=T_{g\circ g'},\) and \(T_ g(\omega)\) as a map from \(G\times\Omega \to\Omega \) is measurable. The author shows that, under certain restrictions, any two actions of G whose Z-subgroup actions are Bernoulli shifts of the same entropy, are isomorphic. Special cases of this result have already been obtaned by \textit{D. Lind} [Isr. J. Mat. (to appear)].
