Functional differential equations of retarded and neutral type: Analytic solutions and piecewise continuous controls (Q798822)

In the paper the retarded and neutral differential equation \[ (1)\quad\dot x(t)=\int^{t}_{t- \tau}A(t,s)x(s)ds+\sum^{\infty}_{j=1}[A_{0j}(t)x(a_ j(t))+A_{1j}(t)\dot x(a_ j(t))] \] is considered. The author establishes the piecewise analyticity of the solution to this equation under the assumption that the coefficients, the ''lags'', the initial function and the initial derivative are analytic. In addition certain classes of control systems associated with the equation (1) are considered.
