Let \(M^ n\) be an n-dimensional manifold without boundary on which a codimension one foliation F of class \(C^ r\) is defined. We call F a Reeb foliation if each leaf is the image of an injective immersion of \({\mathbb{R}}^{n-1}\) into \(M^ n\). A foliation is said to be singular if it contains a nowhere dense minimal set which differs from a compact leaf. \textit{A. Denjoy} [J. Math. Pures Appl., IX. Sér. 11, 333-375 (1932; Zbl 0006.30501)] constructed a singular class \(C^ 1\) Reeb foliation on \(T^ 2\). It is pointed out in the survey of \textit{H. B. Lawson jun.} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 80, 369-418 (1974; Zbl 0293.57014)] that an example of a singular class \(C^ 0\) Reeb foliation can be given on \(T^ 3\), and the question was raised whether a singular class \(C^ 1\) Reeb foliation exists on \(T^ 3\). In our paper we construct a singular Reeb foliation of class \(C^ 1\) on the n-dimensional torus \(T^ n\) (\(n\geq 3)\).
