Spectral synthesis in Banach modules over commutative Banach algebras (Q801237)

The problem of spectral syntesis is considered in the Banach modules over the commutative Banach algebras, which generalizes the problem originally considered by G. E. Shilov for the commutative regular Banach algebras. The author's approach permits in particular the proof of some results due to G. E. Shilov for some classes of regular algebras with a radical and of a well-known theorem due to E. A. Gorin on the spectrally stable Banach algebras.
