Construction of the asymptotic solutions of a partial differential equation of high order with two space variables (Q801468)

Boundary value problems for a quasi-linear high order partial differential equation, describing the oscillations of a rectangular membrane with regard to creeping of its material and under the assumption that its right side has the form of a Fourier polynomial, are regarded. The solution is determined in the form of power series in a little parameter. Then, the general case when the right side of the examined equation is periodic in the variables \(\theta_ 1,\theta_ 2,...,\theta_ n\) having the same periodic is considered. The resonance case is also regarded in the paper.
