Energy-consistent Lagrangean stability and post-buckling equations, which include all associated boundary conditions, had been presented in the paper reviewed above (Zbl 0552.73031) and in the second author's article, Mitt. Inst. Mech., Ruhr-Univ. Bochum 34, 1-46 (1982; Zbl 0511.73038) in the frame of a nonlinear elastic thin shell theory valid for small strains and moderate rotations. The aim of this paper is to generalize these results for the unrestricted rotation shell theory. It is shown that by using appropriate Taylor expansions of the total potential energy buckling and post-buckling equations for the unrestricted rotation shell theory can be obtained in an energy-consistent Lagrangean form.
